   White female virgin slaves with the most prized for the use in the Arab harems.
   
   The men were castrated, only 1 in 4 survived having their genitals cut off.
   The Barbary pirates depopulated enter towns in Europe, by killing all that where not valued as a slaves, and carting off everyone else back to the Ottoman Empire.
   
   This was going on for 500-700 years before any slaves where brought to the Americas.

9. At 93 Jeannie might not still be alive, people are living longer but we don't know if that continues with our generation.
   Most places use bucket trucks, I have never seen a light pole that can do that.
