I know I’m an entire year late to this, but I’m so glad you guys were able to come out relatively unscathed from this Jukin Clown Show. They act like they’re being taken advantage of and their livelyhood is ruined, while simultaneously destroying small creators, and manipulating owners of clips into taking full legal control. Obviously there are legal aspects that they are well within their rights to use, but like my father always said, “ just because something is legal, doesn’t mean it’s morally correct.” I’ve seen so many “legal” laws that are so obviously morally corrupt, and they’re that way on purpose for powerful entities to exploit. Luckily in this case, Creators and Viewers alike, banded together, and showed in this battle, “we will not be pushed around and we will not be intimated, by power drunk and malicious corporations.” The common person needs to band together more often against these powerful entities to remind them the only reason they are allowed to exist is because of people like us.
