Tipping should be optional and not what anybody relies on for their paid wages. Its entirely unfair in the long run and nobody can survive on minimum wages anymore anyways. Most of the time we've encountered situations where people are being paid less than minimum wage just bc they might get tips each day they work, but rarely does anyone ever tip more than a dollar or 2 in my immediate area and down here the minimum wage is still $7.25/hour. Even in places where minimum wage was $10/hour waiters and waitresses were still getting around $5/hour bc they received tips sometimes. The paycheck should never be less than what is a living wage.
Not having the prices on the menu makes me and my bf worry about the money more than the food XD its like how tf are we guns know we brought enough money? We don't use our cards at restaurants
first time i ever saw market price onmeenu was 1972 in palm beach royal lion steak house for surf n turf i asked how much it was it was 49.99 but most other steak meals were 12.99then it was 1972 money was different my friends made 100-150 per night at a tiny town german restaurant i got away with cheap bills lots of free beer my bills after an eveningdrinking imported german beer was 30 most nights
If the advertised weight is supposed to be the after cooking weight, how does McDonald’s get away with telling you the quarter pounder is the pre cooked weight? Maybe it should be renamed the McRoysl everywhere.
Quite honestly, not only am I an introvert, but I am also anti-social, so most of these don't affect me. If by some unholy stroke of bad luck I'm even IN a restaurant, I order the cheapest thing on the menu with a Dr. Pepper or a water without fail. I'm a VERY boring person who takes pride in the plainness of my palate, so I'm safe from all but the most devious of waiters.
(I'm also sick at the moment, so my word vomit should not be taken completely seriously)
Iihop in Baltimore MD inner harbor one menu had happy hour thing on menu was 6 dollars two months ago go back on the 4 its now 8 dollars but kids eat for free
Tips depend on the service. Better service. Better tip.

Tipping is dumb.

Tips are 20 to 100% depending on the food and the waiter. Of course I have been a server in the past, so perhaps I am bias.

mxr plays may have peaked here 🙁
If a restaurant has a mandatory tip for large parties, I never go back.
