I graduated 8th grade and then went to work full time. My parents tried to make pay for home schooling course, which I ignored. At 17 I got a G.E.D., missing a free ride to college by 1 point as I completed it 1.5 hours early. I have a 6 figure job now in a white collar role. Most companies prefer work over a degree as it shows you can work without direction.
