1. In case anyone was curious, I checked out that coconut statistic and it comes from a 1984 paper by a Dr. Barass who just made it up. He treated a lot of patients with coconut related injuries (not from them falling, but mostly people trying to open them) and surmised that given the sheer number of coconuts in the world, some number of people would probably die that way and 150 was as good a number as any. The real number is actually closer to 2-3 recorded cases in the last few hundred years. This false assertion really took off though with news articles about it, apparently India had all the nuts removed from trees when Obama visited for fear that one would fall and kill him but it was based on nothing. Remember kids "That which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence."
